In my class graphic design we were told to do our own magazine cover, we had to pretend we were famous for something and put our picture on the magazine we choose to be on, we had to think of how we wanted it to look like, what it was going to be about and how we wanted our picture to look like also the headlines we wanted to have on the cover, the steps i took for this project is figuring out what magazine cover i would want to be in then i thought of what i wanted to communicate through my magazine cover lastly i thought of how i wanted to my picture to look like and the type of pose i would do.

My magazine cover is red, black, pink and yellow the name of the magazine is Teen Vogue the word "Teen" is red and "Vogue" is in pink, on the right side of the cover is a picture of me its from my waist up , i have three headlines on the left of my picture one in the bottom that says "New Section! in a red box with white letters on the bottom of that it says "love" in big red letters the "O" in love is heart shaped and inside of that it says "find your soul mate" the next one says "Mr. Wrong" in yellow, "why good girls love bad boys" in black letters and the last one says my name Vanessa Castro and on the bottom of that says "Her secret to success: on over coming shyness and dealing with nasty rumors".

What i was trying to communicate thought this magazine cover was love i was trying to grab teens attention so they can get tips on love and also like it said on the headline to let girls know the reason why sometimes they go for guys who aren't so great for them also to share how i became successful and dealt with problems which was the reason i was up on the magazine.

Looking at my rubric i see that i didn't finish my work successfully i could have done better in being more prepared and using my time wisely in class to get things done also i could have done better on the way i placed my headlines and use more tools to fix them.
